Hubermann Ermeus Separate and Unequal During the 1970s numerous of African American students in high school in Boston protested their educational concept by creating schools boycott. They have create groups that boycott many schools that weren’t accepting what they wanted for their benefits. They form organizations, leading demonstrations to demand changes in the content and the way they receive their education in the Boston public school. They demand for education that value black culture, they demand to be mentored by black educators and for collaboration between school and communities. These demands were very important in the black communities back then and today society because having someone who can relate to you that’s guiding will have a better understand of what you need to get done.
